Become a Friend of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail

In these tough economic times, it's important to surround yourself with good friends. The Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene & Marilyn Glick has accumulated many friends like you over the last several years.

Friends like you have...
...signed up for this e-newsletter or taken a bike tour.
...attended events like the groundbreaking, street lighting and ribbon-cutting (even in the pouring rain, see photo).
...told us how much the Cultural Trail will mean to your neighborhood or why it has made you choose to live downtown.
...expressed that even though you've lived in Indianapolis your whole life, you've never experienced it like you did from the Cultural Trail.
...asked us how you can help.

The Indianapolis Cultural Trail needs friends like you, now more than ever, to keep the project on track. We've completed one-half mile of the total eight miles planned. In 2009, we'll start construction on four more miles!  The Northeast, North, Southeast and Capitol Ave. Corridors will begin construction in 2009 (to be completed in 2010). This will provide incredible connectivity to nearly all of the Cultural Districts, leaving only the Central and West Corridors to start construction in 2010 and be completed in 2011 - just in time for the Super Bowl!

We cannot do it without help from ALL of our friends. It's now easy for you to make any size gift today through our new online donation form. For donations of $100 or more, you will become a member of "Trail Blazers," a friends of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail group that will receive a special t-shirt and invitations to members-only events throughout the year.

Become a Trail Blazer and friend of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail today. Let's build this Indianapolis legacy together.

Best wishes for a happy, healthy and safe holiday season.

Sincerely,

Brian Payne,
President
Central Indiana Community Foundation
