Longest Dinner Tonight!
Join us and a few hundred of our closest friends for the Longest Dinner benefitting the IndyFringe building and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene & Marilyn Glick.

Construction Caution: Please use caution walking around the construction site in all areas, particularly on the southwest corner of Mass Ave and College Ave. Please cross College Ave. from the north side of Mass Ave to get to the IndyFringe Building.
Indy's Best Bike Race: Mass Ave Criterium This Saturday
Come to Mass Ave this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the 2nd annual Mass Ave Criterium, presented by NUVO and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. See European-style racing in the heart of Mass Ave as the state champion NUVO/Cultural Trail cycling team defends its turf against competitors from around the Midwest and for $7,500 in cash and prizes.
There's plenty to do for the whole family. Kids can learn bicycle safety tips at the free kids' rodeo presented by Bicycle Indiana from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and ride in their own race at 12:20 p.m.
Check out sponsor booths and enjoy free beer samples from New Belgium Brewing at the start/finish line in front of the Chatterbox on Mass Ave. Mayor Greg Ballard will wave the green flag for the last race and present awards to winners at 2 p.m. from race headquarters in the Rathskeller Biergarten.
Volunteers are still needed to stand along the course to keep cars off the course during the race. All volunteers receive:

Construction Update
Northeast Corridor (from 10th St. at the Monon Trail to North and Alabama streets)
- Concrete sidewalk poured from Monon Trail to Bellefontaine St. Gravel still exists at the Monon Trail terminus at 10th St. and cyclists should walk bikes in that area.
- Demo 10th St. at Bellefontaine St., prep and pour curb.
- Add asphalt walk at 10th St., Bellefontaine St. and Mass Ave.
- Concrete base poured on Walnut St. next week.
- Pavers installed around M12 sculpture next week.
North Corridor (from North and Alabama streets to Indiana Ave. and Blackford St.)
- St. Clair St. is currently closed between Senate Ave. and West St. through this Friday, Aug. 14.
- Street pavers have been installed on the north side of Walnut St. between Meridian St. and Illinois St. (see photo) Crews are working today through Friday on the south side of Walnut St. at Pierson St.
- Concrete base will be poured this week between Capitol Ave. and Senate Ave.
- Next week, the north side of Walnut St. between Illinois St. and Capitol Ave. will be paved.
- Pouring storm water concrete curbs and base along Indiana Ave. next week.
